What is Organic?

Organic means that something is grown in a chemical-free environment. Organic growers take that further by ensuring that the fields have no chemicals or pesticides of any type used for a minimum of three years.

At Nachuraru, we use bamboo fiber and organic cotton that is Oeko-Tex 100, GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and OCIA certified.

[CAN OMIT] "The aim of GOTS is to define world-wide recognized requirements that ensure organic textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labeling in order to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer."

Benefits of
Bamboo fiber and Organic cotton:

In Singapore's hot and humid weather, we need breathable clothing so that the cloth will not cling onto the skin to irritate us and this is especially so for newborns as they naturally have difficulty regulating their body temperature with changing weather conditions. Bamboo fabric is rain fed and naturally organic. It does not require synthetic fertilizers, harmful pesticides and is dyed and bleached without harsh chemicals and chlorine.

With its natural characteristics such as superior absorption (absorbs four times more than cotton), thermal regulating, anti-bacterial, hypoallergenic, UV protection and many more, it is the perfect fabric for all newborns even those with skin allergies like eczema.

Like bamboo, organic cotton is grown without the use of harmful pesticides or fertilizers.

Baby clothes made from organic cotton eliminate all health issues that can come from traditionally grown cotton. To make organic cotton baby clothes an even healthier choice, Nachuraru ensures that all our baby clothing and products are 100% safe for newborns to use.

What's most amazing about bamboo and organic cotton is that apart from all its rich benefits, it is lusciously soft, gentle and safe even for the most sensitive newborn; and on top of all that, it is wonderfully eco-friendly! Our consumers can be assured as we are organically certified from GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), from its button to its thread to its zip. So Go Organic!
